Offering the rare ORIGINAL SET of prewar strip tuners shown in the photos. As the photos show this is a complete set of original open gear 3-on-a-plate strip tuners with GEARS ON TOP . Includes original string post ferrules and original screws for mounting! This original set with the original gears located atop the worm gear was likely from a 30s Sovereign or Stella guitar but were used on loads of vintage American made flattops with SOLID pegheads. They could possibly be Waverly made but are not marked at all. Plates measure 4" long and 11/16" wide with nice cross hatching design along the length on both sides. String posts extend a full 1" from plates with string hole near end (for solid peghead). Posts are 1 3/8" center to center. Shown mounted on solid peghead headstock for demonstration purposes only. Good set with original white buttons. Great opportunity to get that ol flattop back to correct.
Hopefully this is a good opportunity to get your cherished old guitar right. Tuners are completely operative with correct amount of drag. Fine set as shown..$125. (mailed FREE in the US!)
