Spare plastic button nickel plated kluson for vintage Gibsons, martins etc

Original BASS SIDE...

Offering for your consideration this RARE Spare plastic button nickel plated kluson shown in the photos. This is an original nickel plated BASS SIDE , open gear kluson with round white plastic button which is original to many vintage Gibson and Martin guitars from that period.... (Bass side = for the 4th, 5th and 6th string side of the peghead). The tuner is completely ORIGINAL with the possible exception of an extra string hole beneath what appears to be the original string hole (see photos). This tuner may have been "re-purposed" by previous owner to fit onto a slotted head guitar though I'm not sure. In any case this second string hole will likely be concealed by the peghead when the tuner is installed. This is the rare Kluson used in the 1934 period with the cross hatch pattern on the center of the gear. It is marked on the backside. Genuine Kluson vintage tuner. Tuner is operative...i.e. turn the button and the post moves like it should. Turns fine. Listing is for the ONE tuner only as shown. Includes two original mounting screws.... Tough item to find when you need one...... no other parts included....just what is shown in the photos. Feels SO good to get that vintage guitar right!! . $45. + $10.50 postage in US...
