Rare Maybell Lamp!!
Sometimes it can get a bit monotonous at guitar shows.....tables and tables of "rare" and "vintage" guitars from mostly the same manufacturers with unbelievable prices.
Every once in a while you come upon something that actually manages to arrest your attention. That's the story of "Maybell"...the guitar lamp shown in the photos.
Likely the only one in existence, "Maybell" was made from an original prewar Slingerland MAYBELL guitar peghead
with the original tuners still intact. Best of all...plug her in and she works. Shown with the shade that I got it with....shade has some stains on it and could easily be replaced but
I never did...What a way to light up your guitar room!
