Pre War Banjo Shoe
Nothing like the feeling of restoring a fine old banjo. I am offering, toward that end, some very RARE original nickel plated brass pointed top shoes that may be just the vintage banjo hardware you are seeking to put the finishing touch on your cherished instrument. These are petite little shoes....each measures 5/8" x 5/16" and I have no mounting screws for them. Most likely easy enough to purchase at the local hardware store. The horizontal component which receives the banjo hook is 3/8" long. Not sure but I seem to recall seeing something like this on Place Philharmonic banjos as well as on some other makers. No longer available anywhere and exceedingly tough to find.
