Vintage Post-War Adjustable Tailpiece


Original postwar adjustable banjo tailpiece with original attachment bolt. This is a pretty heavy guage nickel plated steel tailpiece used on many postwar banjos. There are seven string holes and it seems to be made to accept ball end strings though I've seen them set up with loop end string latched thru as well. It would be adjustable for tension if the broken off adjustment screw were removed and replaced. Aside from the broken off tension screw, the condition is very good with no damage and no repairs.
