Prewar Vega Pie Plate Resonator with 28 Flange Plates
Offering for your kind consideration the original prewar Vega "Pie Plate" resonator with complete set of 28 original flange plates and dowel stick attachment hardware shown in these photos. This is the standard 13 1/2" diameter 8-section "Pie Plate" that is usually used in conjunction with either Vega's 28 individual flange plates or 4-piece flange (the 28 individual flanges shown are included). It is designed to fit most any original prewar Vega banjo with 10 15/16" diameter rim. (Little Wonder, Regent, Whyte Laydie, Tubaphone M, Vegaphone, Soloist, Artist, etc).

The 28 flange plates are mounted by removing each hook/nut assembly and passing the hooks through each of the flange plates. This is the rare BLONDE pie plate. It's in VERY good original condition with original mounting bracket.....some finish flaking on the sidewalls and a mysterious reddish color stain on the back (see photos) but nothing terribly disturbing.
