Offering for your consideration this completely original Vintage MILTON G. WOLF Banjo string envelope with matching MILTON G. WOLF Bridge shown in the photos. This is just the sort of "case candy" that one expects to find inside the case of any venerable preWWII 4 string banjo. Both the empty ENVELOPE and the BRIDGE are original preWWII and both are marked with the MILTON G. WOLF name. Envelope shows expected wear. Bridge is 1/2" maple/ebony with 4 string slots suitable for plectrum or tenor. Apparently Milton G. Wolf was a Chicago based performer and teacher during the 20s-30s who was sometimes referred to as "Banjo Man". He must have also been an avid Vega player/endorser since his strings and banjo accessories are commonly found inside prewar Vega banjos. Condition is very good... Buy direct and save.
