Vintage ELTON Banjo Armrest - original plated brass banjo armrest as on many vintage banjos. This is about 7" long and had two hard mounted threaded posts along with the two mounting brackets shown. One of the threaded posts needs to be re-attached. AS IS $35. ($7.50 postage US) More Photos

Vintage Pre War WIRE Banjo Armrest - Here's a primo PREWAR vintage adjustable wire banjo armrest in excellent original condition. This is nickel plated brass with two mounting "feet" that attach to your banjo shoes. No markings anywhere but this is the most desireable of all vintage wire armrests well suited for any top shelf open back. Some plating worn through to brass...pretty common for an 80+ year old banjo armrest I'd say. Commonly found on old Whyte Laydie and Tubaphone 5 strings as well as many prewar Bacons. More Photos

Vintage KAY Banjo Armrest - original 50s KAY brazilian rosewood banjo armrest as used on many Kay banjos. The armrest has two holes 4 1/8" center to center for mounting to Kay banjo tension hoops using the two screws included. Note: Not all Kay tension hoops have the same spacing. Has some white paint decoration which could be removed. $15.00 ($5.00 postage US)


I took a hit on a banjo purchased from Bill's Music in Maryland. (Ebay user ID: billsmusic) The photos , strategically provided to keep undisclosed damage hidden, did not show obvious, extensive damage to the interior of the banjo. Contacted the seller who claimed all sales were "final with no returns". Not the kind of folks I want to do business with again.
